Seattle is a great place to live if you like theatre. On my bookmark page I have about 15 different places to look for plays and symphony concerts. One of our favorite places to go is the Village Theatre. Last month we went to see Little Women there in a musical adaptation. Good show and a good story. One reason we like that place is because it has a funny memory. I took Ladybug to see Cats there a few years ago. During the performance the "Cats" came out into the audience during one of the songs. One of them sat on my lap. I was totally embarrassed and I had to pick Ladybug up off the floor she was laughing so hard. We also like going to the Paramount theatre. It is a beautiful theatre that has wonderful decorations all over the walls. It is an old theatre that was built over 77 years ago. We just went to see My Fair Lady there and had a wonderful time.
The Rainier Symphony is a local volunteer symphony that Ladybug and Artax's violin teacher performs in. They are having their last performance of the season this weekend with their Pop's concert. Last year we got to see storm troopers and Darth Vader himself while they preformed the Star War's music. What good is music if you can't have a little fun now and then! This summer we are looking forward to watching some more Shakespeare in the park. Several places in the area put on a couple Shakespeare plays over the summer in outdoor theatres. Lots of fun.
